Picture of the Week: Dragon Topiary

We very much enjoyed the Flower and Garden festival this year at Epcot.  My favorite of the topiaries was the dragon in the lily pond in China.  I loved that every few minutes, the topiary would "breathe" by misting the flowers in its mouth.

What about you?  Did you have a favorite this year?  Please email me if you'd like some details about going to Disney next year during the Flower and Garden Festival -

Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot

Today begins Epcot's annual International Flower and Garden Festival.  This festival showcases all sorts of unique gardens (like last year's tea garden in England), playscapes (the perfect place for your young child to burn off some energy), butterfly gardens, and my personal favorite - topiaries.  There are demonstrations and talks from HGTV and Epcot's gardening experts.  And every weekend there is a "Flower Power" artist performing in the American Gardens theatres (such as ELO, Herman's Hermits, and Chubby Checker).  This festival runs through May 20th.

Here are some of the topiaries from last year (and I will be enjoying the festival in a few weeks - I can't wait to see the new topiary designs for this year!):
